Stephen Rolls Contracting is a horticultural contracting business based in Gisborne, on the East Coast of the North Island. We contract staff on various orchards around the Poverty Bay area.
We have various opportunities available for seasonal work and may lead to long term work for the right people.

Maize Detasseling (From now for at least 6 weeks)
Kiwifruit, Blueberries and Persimmon Summer work
Apple Picking
Mandarin thinning
Working hours: 7am to 4pm approx. for Maize Detasseling (Mon – Sun) and other jobs 7.30am to 4pm (Mon – Sat)
Remuneration: For Maize Detasseling $22.50 plus 8% Holiday pay = $24.30 per hour with possibility of earning incentive for reliable people.
Other jobs will be paid $22.10 plus 8% Holiday pay = $23.87 per hour
What we are looking for:
Ideal candidate must have positive attitude and good work ethics, turn up to work 5 to 6 days a week, must be reliable, physically fit, and healthy.
Experience is not essential to apply for this role, Full training will be provided.
Transport is preferred, but we do have limited spaces available for transport, if necessary.
Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ and be based in the Gisborne district for the duration of the job.
