Thompson’s Horticulture Limited is a family owned and operated kiwifruit and vineyard management company, with orchards and vineyards in Opotiki and Gisborne. We are seeking an Experienced Machinery Operator to join our Gisborne Kiwifruit team.
This is an opportunity for a motivated, capable and committed person to operate Orchard Machinery, joining one of the fastest growing industries in New Zealand. We will provide a competitive remuneration package, great work environment and ample growth opportunities.
The successful candidate will:
- have experience with the operation and maintenance of other tractor’s and machinery
- experience with chemical spraying and fertilizer application
- a current drivers licence and
- a current Growsafe Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- be able to work well within a team
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
